Terms and conditions

These terms govern your use of analyze.domains (the “Service”), operated by Realtime Comms Ltd (“we”, “us”), a company incorporated in England and Wales, company number 15584611, registered office 71-75 Shelton Street, Covent Garden, London, WC2H 9JQ. By using the Service you agree to them.

What the Service does

We publish information about internet domain names: whether a name appears to be unregistered, the price a registrar quoted for it, and a score and description generated by an automated system. We also provide a chat interface for searching that information, and for subscribers, alerts and a feed of recently expired names.

We are not a domain registrar and we do not sell domain names. To register a name you leave the Service and buy it from a registrar, under their terms, at their price.

Availability and pricing are not guaranteed

This is the most important thing on this page. Domain availability changes constantly and by the second. Everything we show you reflects the last time we checked, which may be hours or days ago, and a name that was available then may be registered by somebody else before you reach the registrar.

• Prices are those quoted to us by a registrar at the time of checking. Registries and registrars change prices without notice, and the price you are charged may differ.
• Registry premium names typically renew at their premium price every year, not just in the first year. Check the renewal price before you buy.
• Some names shown may be subject to trademark rights, dispute resolution procedures, or registry eligibility rules. Registering a name does not give you the right to use it.

You are responsible for verifying availability, price and suitability with the registrar before purchasing.

Scores and descriptions are opinions, not advice

Brand scores, categories and descriptions are produced by an automated language model. They are generated commentary, not valuations, and not legal, financial or investment advice. They can be wrong, and they have no knowledge of existing trademarks, companies or products: a name may score highly precisely because it resembles something that already exists. Do your own checks before spending money.

Accounts

Accounts are created by email. Anyone with access to your inbox can sign in as you, so keep it secure. You must be at least 18 and provide an address you control. We may suspend or remove an account that abuses the Service, attempts to circumvent rate limits, scrapes the data in bulk, or uses it to break the law.

Subscriptions and payment

• Pro is billed monthly in advance through Stripe. We never see or store your card details.
• You can cancel at any time from your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the period you have already paid for, and you keep Pro features until then.
• We do not give partial refunds for time remaining in a period, except where the law requires it.
• As a consumer you may have a statutory right to cancel within 14 days under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013. Where you ask us to begin the service immediately, that right may be reduced or lost once the service has been supplied. Nothing here limits your statutory rights.
• We may change the price with at least 30 days’ notice by email. If you do not accept the change you can cancel before it takes effect.

Referral links

Some links to registrars and domain marketplaces are referral links, meaning we may be paid a commission if you buy through them. This never affects what we show you or how names are scored: the ranking is produced before any commercial consideration and we do not accept payment for placement.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Copy, scrape or redistribute the inventory, scores or descriptions in bulk, or use them to build a competing dataset.
• Use automated means to access the Service beyond the published limits, or to share account access with others.
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Service or to interfere with its operation.

Data exported through the Pro CSV export is for your own use. You may act on it commercially; you may not resell or republish it as a dataset.

Availability of the Service

We provide the Service on an “as is” basis and do not promise uninterrupted availability. We depend on third parties, including registry zone file access and registrar pricing, any of which may change or withdraw access without notice. We may change or discontinue features.

Liability

Nothing in these terms excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Subject to that, we are not liable for any loss arising from reliance on information published by the Service, including a name being unavailable or priced differently than shown, or from a purchasing decision informed by a score or description. Our total liability to you in any twelve-month period is limited to the amount you paid us in that period.

Changes

We may update these terms. If a change materially affects you we will tell subscribers by email. Continuing to use the Service after a change means you accept it.

Law and contact

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction, save that if you are a consumer resident elsewhere in the UK you may bring proceedings in your home jurisdiction.
